Wilma Deming
Wilma Deming, age 84, of Ursa, died on July 9, 2026 at Blessing Hospital. She was born on May 4, 1942 in Boaz, IL the daughter of Joe and Lillie (Durall) Meyer. She married E. Wayne Deming on June 10, 1964 in Palmyra, MO.
She enjoyed taking care of her family. She found enjoyment in cooking for her family and checking in on them.
Wilma is survived by her children: Teresa Hindbaugh and her husband Bruce, Danny Deming, and Kevin Deming all of Ursa, IL
Grandchildren: Michael and Billy Hindbaugh; Ambie Deming
Four great-grandchildren, several nieces and nephews also survive
Siblings: Betty Jo Walker (Kenneth) of Quincy, Connie Baker of Quincy, and Jennie Law of Mounds, IL.
She was preceded in death by her husband, brothers Bill and Jerry Meyer and sister Shelby Myrick.
Graveside services will be held on Tuesday, July 14, 2026, at 11:00 am in New Providence Cemetery in Ursa, IL. There is no visitation, but friends and family are invited to the graveside services. Memorials are suggested to the American Diabetes Association. Service arrangements are with the Duker and Haugh Funeral Home.
I will miss My sister wilma I always called her sugar because she was born on sugar rishing day. She was no more paina wonderful woman. I love her so much

Fisrt time meeting Wilma, I was young and surrounded by people I was not familiar with. She was very kind and a smile I remember to this day.
Ronnie, always spoke fondly of time spent being apart of her family’s life.
May her family be carried through this time with peace and love.
