    Sue, I am so very sorry! You have been so faithful through all Leo’s trials. I will always remember our first meeting at your home, and then all our times together at Markword. May the love of your wonderful family and all your friends surround you. My prayers are with you and he will be most certainly remembered at Mass, our greatest gift. I’m so sorry I can’t come to Quincy on Monday to see you in person.

    Sue and Family,
    Sadness fills our hearts when a loved one leaves us.
    But glory felt in the heavenly journey of the one we’ve lost.
    May Gods strength be with you in Leo’s absence.
    Fondly,

    Dear Sue,
    Jim, Susan, Andy, Bob, Tom, Beth,
    and your familiies,

    I offer you my sincere condolences in the passing of Leo–husband, father, grandfather, great grandfather.
    A good and faithfilled man, He has surely joined the Communion of saints in heaven. 🙏

    My Mother, Carolyn Ann Briddle, in Quincy, life-long member of St. Francis Solanus parish, asked my sister, Theresa (Briddle) Quintero, to forward Leo’s obituary to me,
    as I reside with my spouse and family in Chicago. I received word today, the day of his wake and funeral.

    Perhaps you recall the encounters we shared at some Sunday Masses at SFS and St. Mary’s churches around 1980. There, Sr. Alverna Hollis ,d., and Sr. Pat Francis, Springfield Dominican Religious, introduced me to interpreting the Mass in sign language;
    and I was blessed to meet your family.
    Leo and Susan were kind and supportive, along with your children, as I developed my skill. I believe Jim was a star athlete at ISD at that time.

    May you each find joy and peace, knowing that Christ’s love, grace, and mercy bind you with Leo, just as Christ reigns over heaven and earth.

    Peace 🕊,

    Mary Kay (Briddle) Kochis
