Tracy Williams
Tracy Williams, age 64, of Quincy, Illinois, died on Sunday, August 16, 2026 in her home. She was born on February 20, 1962, in Quincy, Illinois. The daughter of Darrell and Judith Longcor. She married Christopher Williams and her preceded her in death on March 2, 2022.
Tracy enjoyed collecting and repairing antiques where her talent for woodworking came in handy. She also liked to detail cars. Tracy truly enjoyed work in general and was always busy with projects. When she took time to relax, she always enjoyed spending time and cooking for family and friends she loved.
She is survived by:
GRANDCHILDREN: Nevaeh Douglas, Dagen Ash and Kashious Williams.
BROTHERS: Bradley Longcor, Sr. and Shawn Longcor
Nieces, nephews, and other relatives and friends survive.
Tracy was preceded in death by her parents, a daughter Ashley Williams and a sister Shelly Longcor.
Cremation rites have been accorded. Graveside inurnment services will be held at Greenmount Cemetery at a later date. The Duker & Haugh Funeral Home is in charge of the arrangements.
Man, I am sad to see this. After Ashley died, I bought Tracy a Bible to her to let her know… it’s the only way to heal a broken heart. I couldn’t imagine her pain, and I truly felt sorry for her. I pray her and Ashley are together again, in the arms of Jesus. This is so heartbreaking. 🙁
I wanted to share a few memories about Tracy. She lost her dad, Darrell Longcor, young and my sister Judy was left to raise 4 children on her own, so we spent alot of time together growing up.
Tracy was a true ‘tomboy’ and an all-star in the girls’ softball league. Tracy, her sister, Shelley, and I all played on a girls softball team together for a couple of summers – it was one of the best experiences of my young life and I was in aww if her natural athletic ability. She was fiercely protective of her family—no one could say a bad word about them without a fight and there were a few!!
She was incredibly brave and would never pass on a dare. She loved riding motorcycles and had a passion for fast cars. She also loved dancing to the funkiest Rhythm and Blues and all us kids would dance to vinyl records — The Jackson Five. Lionel Richie, and The Sugerhill Gang to name a few. She also enjoyed working on cars and learning all about motors from my dad, grandpa Tieken.
She never met a stranger and there wasn’t anything she couldn’t do when she set her mind to it. I will miss her dearly. I love you Tracy.
I miss her visits and phone calls and text so much, we go way back to Grade School,we talked alot about that. She was such a giving person, She had a lot of plans and was loving life. I will cherish the memories forever ❣️
