Theresa A. Allensworth, age 71, of Quincy, died on Monday, May 4, 2026 in Blessing Hospital. She was born on November 9, 1954 in Quincy, IL the daughter of Howard and Flora (Scott) Liesen. She married Gene Allensworth. He preceded her in death on January 24, 2003.

Theresa was a manager at Washland for many years. She was of the Catholic faith. Theresa liked the outdoors and gardening. She loved all the time spent with family.

She is survived by:
A daughter Keetha Jud and a son Timothy Jud
Grandchildren: Tanner Jud, Jaucelyn Jud, and River Wagner Jud
A sister: Carlene ‘Cork’ Sapp
Numerous nieces, nephews and other relatives survive.

Theresa was preceded in death by her parents, a son Brian Jud, and siblings: Mike Liesen and Bonnie Baker.

Funeral services will be held on Monday, May 11, 2026 at 11:00 Am in Duker & Haugh Funeral Home. Interment in Greenmount Cemetery. Visitation will be held on Sunday, May 10, 2026 from 3:00 until 6:00 PM at the Duker & Haugh Funeral Home. Memorials may be made to the American Cancer Society. The Duker & Haugh Funeral Home is in charge of the arrangements.
