Steven W. Murry, age 66, of Aledo, Il, formerly of Quincy, died on December 3, 2025 in Aledo. He was born on August 31, 1959 in Quincy the son of Charles & Elizabeth (Moore) Murry.

He worked as a bargehand for many years.

Steve is survived by:
CHILDREN: Joshawa Foster and Hailee Murry.
GRANDCHILDREN: Paislee and Phenix
SIBLINGS: Donald Lohmeyer (Erla), Cathy Murry, Cheryl Barger and Charles Murry (Carol).
Numerous nieces, nephews and other relatives also survive.

Steven was preceded in death by his parents and a sister: Pamela Murry.

Cremation rites have been accorded. Services will be held on Friday, December 19, 2025 at 1:30 PM in the Mausoleum Chapel of Quincy Memorial Park Cemetery. There is no visitation but friends are invited to the services.
