Rosemary C. Bunte, age 94, of Quincy, died on Saturday, April 12, 2025. She was born on December 18, 1930 in Quincy, IL the daughter of Charles and Mary (Garrison) Koch. She married Richard Bunte on March 24, 1964 in Quincy. He preceded her in death on January 22, 2012.

Over the years, Rosemary worked at Motorola, Dixie Crème and then Daylight Donuts. Also, for a number of years, Rosemary ran her own café, Mr. Spudnut.

Rosemary enjoyed puzzles and coloring. She greatly enjoyed her times cooking for her family.

Rosemary is survived by:
HER CHILDREN: Mike Probst (Paulette) of Copperopolis, CA; Patty Martin of Quincy, Steve Probst of Quincy, Vicki Boylen of Quincy.
TWO SPECIAL GRANDSONS: Rick Rossmiller and Ryan Rossmiller, who she raised from infancy and thought of as her own children.
Numerous grandchildren, great-grandchildren, great-great grandchildren, nieces, nephews, cousins and other relatives also survive.

In addition to her husband, Rosemary was also preceded in death by her parents and a brother Charles Koch.

Funeral services will be held on Saturday, April 19th, 2025 at 12:00 Noon at the Duker & Haugh Funeral Home. Interment in Greenmount Cemetery. Visitation will be held on Saturday, April 19, 2025 from 11:00 AM until the time of the services at Noon. Memorials may be made to the Blessing Foundation for Hospice or to the Homeward Bound Waggin, Inc. of Quincy. The Duker & Haugh Funeral Home is in charge of the arrangements.
