Rose Sparks, age 71, of Ewing, Missouri, died on Wednesday April 10, 2024, in her home. She was born March 17, 1953, in Quincy, the daughter of Buzz Hamann and Ruby (Hess) Hamann. Rosie married Steve Sparks on June 11, 1974, at Grandview Church. He survives.

Rosie was a homemaker. She enjoyed traveling, as well as doing ceramics, pottery, puzzles, and crosswords. Occasionally, she would like to spend a day fishing.

In addition to her husband Steve, Rosie is survived by numerous nieces and nephews.

Rosie was preceded in death by her parents and two stepbrothers.

Services will be held Saturday, April 13, 2024, at 11:00 a.m. at Duker & Haugh Funeral Home with Chaplain Mark Wiewel officiating. Visitation will be held from 10:00 – 11:00 a.m. at Duker & Haugh Funeral Home. Interment will be in Greenmount Cemetery.
