Robert N. ‘Bob’ Rhea
Robert N. ‘Bob’ Rhea, age 73, of Quincy, died on Monday, June 29, 2026 in Blessing Hospital. He was born on December 18, 1952 in Quincy the son of Norman and Georgene ‘Babe’ (Fleer) Rhea. He married Joan Scheiter on March 22, 1980. She survives.
Bob was a graduate of Quincy Senior High School. He worked as an account manager for the Rinella Company for over 30 years. He and his wife Joan are members of Madison Park Christian Church.
Bob loved the water, boating and fishing on the Mississippi and Mark Twain Lake. He was an active member, and was made a Lifetime member of the Quincy Boat Club. Bob was also a member of the Island Club. He was a car enthusiast having owned dozens and dozens of cars over the years and at one time was the proud owner of a 1969 Shelby GT500. He built and flew radio controlled airplanes. Bob also loved all the times spent with friends and family. He rode 4 wheelers with his boys when they were young and that tradition is now continued by his sons with his grandchildren.

TWO SONS: Robert Norman Rhea, Jr. (Natalie) and Scott Richard Rhea (Joni).
GRANDCHILDREN: Jakson, Eliott and Melanie Rhea; Emmett, Tucker and Declan Rhea.
ONE BROTHER: Richard ‘Bigfoot’ Rhea.
Bob was preceded in death by his parents and a sister-in-law: Cindy Rhea.
Funeral services will be held on Thursday, July 2, 2026 at 11:00 AM in the Duker & Haugh Funeral Home. Interment in Calvary Cemetery. Visitation will be held on Thursday from 9:30 until the time of the services at 11:00. Memorials may be made to Shriners Children’s Hospital or to Madison Park Christian Church. The Duker & Haugh Funeral Home is in charge of the arrangements.
