Richard Iseminger

Richard Ray Iseminger, age 84, of Quincy, died on April 22, 2023 in his home. He was born on September 5, 1938 in Quincy the son of Howard and Mildred (Lunt) Iseminger. Richard worked in sales for Moore’s Floors for many years. He was an Army Veteran. Richard was of the Christian Faith.

A lifetime sportsman. He enjoyed hunting, fishing, archery, horses, and an avid firearm enthusiast. In addition, he enjoyed playing guitar, country western and gospel music.

He is survived by:
CHILDREN: Ann Wolfmeyer (Philip) of Spring Hill, KS; Mark Iseminger (Renae) of Hannibal, MO and Michelle Wright of Quincy
GRANDCHILDREN: Jennifer Fausset, Jessica Hagen, Tanner Iseminger, Seth Iseminger, Gavin Iseminger, Gabby Iseminger and Suzanne Rossiter (Alexander).
GREAT-GRANDCHILDREN: River Fausset, Remington Fausset, Bella Hagen and Tatum Rossiter.
A SISTER: Jill Wegs.
Numerous nieces, nephews and other relatives including a life long friend that Richard considered a brother, Ronald Cook of Mendon also survive.

Richard was preceded in death by his parents, and a brother Dan Iseminger.

Funeral services will be held on Friday, April 28, 2023 at 1:00 PM at the Duker & Haugh Funeral Home. Interment in Greenmount Cemetery with military rites conducted at the cemetery by the American Legion Post #37 and the National Guard Honor Detail. Visitation will be held on Friday from 12:00 Noon until the time of the services. Memorials may be made to the American Heart Association. The Duker & Haugh Funeral Home is in charge of the arrangements.
