Peggy Shafer, age 85, of the Illinois Veterans Home, formerly of Hanna City, IL, died on Tuesday, August 22, 2023 in Blessing Hospital.

Funeral services will be held on Monday, August 28, 2023 at 10:00 AM in the All Faiths Chapel of the Illinois Veterans Home. Visitation will be held on Monday, August 28, 2023 from 9:30 AM until 10:00 AM in the All Faiths Chapel of the Illinois Veterans Home. Interment will follow in Sunset Cemetery of the Illinois Veterans Home. The Duker & Haugh Funeral Home is in charge of the arrangements.
