Patricia Mae Johannessen

Patricia Mae Johannessen, age 79, of Quincy, died on Thursday, May 18, 2023 in her home.  She was born on July 3, 1943 in Springfield, IL the daughter of Charles and Esther Yonk.  She married Robert Johannessen on April 25, 1964 in St. Rita of Cascia Catholic Church in Aurora, IL.  He survives.

 

Mrs. Johannessen was a 1961 graduate of West Aurora High School and a member of St. Peter Catholic Church. She liked to play bridge and loved spending her time with family, especially the grandkids.

 

IN addition to her husband, she is also survived by:

HER CHILDREN: Amy Johannessen, Jason (Heidi) Johannessen, and John (Melissa) Johannessen all of Quincy.

HER GRANDCHILDREN: Kaitlin (Doug) Whiston, Caeden Johannessen, Christopher (Wyatt) Engelmann, Megan Johannessen, and Emily Johannessen.

HER GREAT-GRANDCHILDREN: Jake and Rory Whiston, Adaline and Robert Stray.

HER SIBLINGS: Nancy (Ellis) Van Meter, Charles (Mary Lou) Lovell, Tom Lovell, Rick (Jan) Lovell and Gary (Darlane) Lovell.

Sister-in-law: Joyce Davis, Brothers-in-law: Bill (Ginny) Johannessen and Tom (Kathy) Johannessen.

Numerous nieces, nephews and other relatives also survive.

 

Pat was preceded in death by her parents, her mother-in-law and father-in-law: Gertrude and Arthur Johnannessen, a brother Bill Lovell and a brother-in-law: Dick Davis.

 

Funeral services will be held on Wednesday, May 31, 2023 at 11:00 AM in the Duker & Haugh Funeral Home.  Inurnment in Calvary Cemetery.  Visitation will be held on Tuesday, May 30, 2023 from 4:00 until 6:00 PM at the Duker & Haugh Funeral Home.  Memorials may be made to Chaddock.  The Duker & Haugh Funeral Home is in charge of the arrangements.
