Nancy Ann Williams-Dacus, beloved mother 3 children, 7 grandchildren and 6 great-grandchildren, passed away peacefully in Quincy, Illinois on February 9th, 2025, leaving her family that love her very much.

Nancy was born in Slatedale, Pennsylvania, on November 18th, 1940, to parents Kermit and Arlene Williams, and grew up in the woods of Lehigh Furnace. Nancy attended Slatington High School where she sang in the choir before studying nursing at The Albert Einstein Medical Center School of Nursing, going to work at Allentown General Hospital, Allentown Pennsylvania and Blessing Hospital in Quincy, Illinois. Nancy later moved to Houston, Texas and was general manager for Sign World.

Nancy was a devoted mother to Troy Rehrig, Tammy Rehrig-Humphery and Tor Rehrig, her pride and joy. She also was the loving Grandmother to Brandon, Chase and Tara Rehrig, Brittney and Blake Chatfield, and Devyn and Tristan Rehrig. And a Great-grandmother to Conner Rehrig and Nolan Rehrig, Brayden Beatty, Ava O’Neil, Evren and Elijah, Chatfield.
Nancy always felt blessed for her family and their births changed her life for the better.

Nancy was preceded in death by parents Kermit and Arlene Williams, husband James Dacus, daughter Tammy Ann Rehrig-Humphery and her aunts and uncles, and is survived by, Troy and Lindy Rehrig, Quincy, Ill., Tor Rehrig, Austin, TX., Chase and Laura Rehrig, Quincy IL, Brandon and Jenny Rehrig, St. Louis, MO., Tara Rehrig, St. Louis, MO., Brittney Chatfield, Spring, TX., Blake and Laney Chatfield, Josephine, TX., Devyn Rehrig, Tristan Rehrig, Austin, TX., and Sister-in-law, Cheryl Rehrig, Frankford, DE., who will never forget the love she brought to their lives.

A funeral service will be held at 11 AM Friday, February 28, 2025, at Kevin E. Hunsicker Funeral Home Inc., 4214 Main St., Slatedale, PA 18079. Interment will follow the service at Slatedale Cemetery 8648 Brown St., Slatington, PA 18080.
