Nancy A. Deming

Nancy A. Deming, age 61, of Quincy, died Monday, April 3, 2023 at her home.

She was born July 21, 1961 in Carthage, the daughter of Jim and Barbara Gregory.

She is survived by two daughters, Ashley Chatfield and Kaitlyn Farran, both of Quincy; three grandchildren, Jayden and Chayse Ellefritz and Mackenzie Bullard; one brother, Jimmie Gregory of Quincy; one sister, Laura (Rick) Feltes of Palmyra, MO; and several nieces, nephews and cousins. She was preceded in death by her parents; and one sister, Janet Goodwin.

Ms. Deming was a graduate of Quincy High School and was most recently employed, as a certified nurse assistant, by Addus Healthcare in Quincy. She enjoyed throwing darts and playing bingo. Most of all, she loved being surrounded by friends and family, especially her grandchildren.

A funeral service will be held 4 PM Friday, April 7, 2023 at Duker and Haugh Funeral Home. Family will meet friends from 3 PM until time of services at the funeral home on Friday.     Dear Nancy took care of me when Addus helped me. She was such a sweet lady and did a wonderful job taking care of me. Prayers for your family!

    Prayers for the Deming Family. It has been years since I have had any contact with the Gregory Family, Nancy was a young girl the last time I saw her. I went to school with Nancy’s Mother Barbara Morgan at Carthage High School.

    I am absolutely crushed about this. I loved her so much. I loved throwing darts with her and just hanging out. Sending prayers and hugs to her family. She will be missed. Fly high Miss Nancy!!!!
