Michael Birck, age 65, of Quincy, died on Sunday, April 21, 2024 in Liberty Village in Pittsfield, IL. He was born on July 31, 1958 in Quincy, IL, the son of his ‘Dada’ and ‘Mama’, Richard and Delores (Meyer) Birck.

He is survived by:
ONE BROTHER: Russell Birck (Chelle) of Quincy.
A NEPHEW: Adam Birck of Canton, MO
AN UNCLE: Daniel Birck (Sue)
He is also survived by great nephews Carson and Kegan Birck, and relatives Michelle Parrish (Rich); Lori Jones (Bryan), Gage Wheeler, and Brandon Wheeler and his ‘House parents’: Gene Birch and Tamisha Neal.

The family would also like to thank the entire staff of caregivers at Peoria Lutheran Hospital and Liberty Village in Pittsfield for the care they gave to Michael.

Michael was preceded in death by his parents, a nephew Bradley Birck and an aunt Joan Allison.

Graveside services will be held Thursday, April 25, 2024 at 1:30 p.m. in Greenmount Cemetery. Visitation will be held on Thursday from 12:30 until 1:30 p.m. at the Duker & Haugh Funeral Home. Memorials may be made to the family. The Duker & Haugh Funeral Home is in charge of the arrangements.
