Mary Margaret Hampsmire, age 69, of Payson, died on December 10, 2025 in Blessing Hospital. She was born on July 4, 1956 in Quincy, the daughter of Walter and Marie (Leonard) Williams. She had been married to Bryan Hampsmire.

Mary had worked at the Good Samaritan Home and also at Blessing Hospital. Mary attended The Crossing.

In addition to Bryan, Mary is also survived by:
A DAUGHTER: Briana Helms (Adam)
GRANDCHILDREN: Cole, Joshua, Paige, Peyton, Kelsey, Bryton, Noah and Elijah Helms.
GREAT-GRANDCHILD: Audrey Helms
SIBLINGS: Phyllis Riggs, Linda Getz (AJ), and Walter Williams (Becky).
Numerous nieces, nephews and other relatives also survive.

Cremation rites have been accorded and no formal services are planned at this time. Inurnment in Greenmount Cemetery will take place in the Spring. The Duker & Haugh Funeral Home is in charge of the arrangements.
