Mary Jo “Jody” Stille

Mary Jo “Jody” Stille age 75, of Payson died on Tuesday, February 6, 2024, in Blessing Hospital. Jody was born in Quincy on September 1, 1948, a daughter of James E. and Lillian E. (Blomer) Queen. She first married Kenneth Willer on April 4, 1970, and he preceded her in death July 12, 1974.
She later married Richard Stille and he survives. She worked in retail sales prior to retiring in 2005.
Jody was a graduate of Notre Dame High School, and she was of the Catholic faith.
She was the proud owner of a Harley Davidson Super Glide, and together with her husband Richard, had many memories of riding with their Harley group and each other. Her favorite place was Key West, FL where she liked fishing, camping and the beautiful scenery.
Survivors include her husband, a daughter Marcia Willer Smith of Ft. Myers, FL and a son Scott Willer of Quincy. Stepchildren Tammie Stille of Payson and Richard (Amanda) Stille of Ft. Myers, FL.
Her sisters and brother, Carol (Kenneth) Whaley; Gary Queen and Joy Lynn Mester all of Quincy.
Grandchildren: Amber Whitehead (Brad Thibault) Shy Anne Willer, Alyssa Cutright, Cullen Davis both of Ft. Myers, and Kyle Claxton. Great-Grandchildren, Teagan Thibault of Florida; Shyanne Willer and Jolene Willer both of Payson, IL. Nieces and nephews also survive.
She is preceded in death by her grandparents. Her parents, her first husband and a brother -in-law Steven Mester.
Graveside services will be at 2:30 p.m. on Friday, February 9, 2024, in Calvary Cemetery.
There is no visitation, but family and friends are invited to the graveside service.

    I have known Mary Jo for a long time. I have delt with her in stressful times and she has alway acted with grace and wisdom. She will be missed.
