Margaret Riley Warning Mason, age 84, of Perry, IL, died on Thursday, May 7, 2026 in Illini Community Hospital in Pittsfield, IL. She was born on April 1, 1942 in Quincy, IL. The daughter John & Elsie (Mullins) Riley.
She first married Russell K. Warning. He preceded her in death on November 5, 2013. She later married Martin Mason.
She had attended Liberty Christian Church and also The Crossing.
She is survived by:
CHILDREN: Cathy Miller and husband Marty and Angel Haney and her husband Jim.
Siblings: Gary Riley and his wife Una, Donald Riley and Linda Brooks.
Numerous grandchildren and great-grandchildren and other relatives also survive.
Margaret was preceded in death by her parents and a son Russell G. Warning, siblings Rosetta Nunn, Maxine Eldridge, James Snyder and Leroy Snyder.
Cremation rites have been accorded. No formal services are planned at this time. The Duker & Haugh Funeral Home is in charge of the arrangements.
I remember aunt tiny when we came to her house in Liberty Illinois we had so much fun we had a big Thanksgiving dinner when I had a black eye and she said don’t worry about it just come anyway I was so disappointed in myself because of it but she brought me back up and had a great time she also was there when we were little and we go I think and had a great time

Ma tiny I’m going to miss you with all my heart. I’m going to miss our long talks all our giggling togather. The whole family loves and misses you with all our 💕 hearts.
Pigs and a stolen bottle. Grasshopper’s and clean clothes. Ticks in my hair and long days in the sun. Good meals, family drama, and long hugs at the door. Those are some of the happiest memories, and I will carry them with me always. I’m sorry I forgot to call you on your birthday this year. 💜
