Lyla M. Breder, age 91, of Quincy, died on Monday, March 9, 2026 in Blessing Hospital. She was born on September 26, 1934 in Liberty, Illinois the daughter of Oscar and Mildred (Wells) Graff. She married Milton Breder on October 13, 1955. He survives.

Lyla worked as secretary for the law firm Loos, Schnack and Siebers for many years until her retirement.

She loved shopping and going to craft shows. She liked crosswords. Along with her husband, she enjoyed going to the Elks club. They also enjoyed the many trips they took.

ONE SON: Richard Kent Breder
GRANDCHILDREN: Gina Durcan McGee, Lori Beth Breder and Charlie Breder (Kala)
GREAT-GRANDCHILDREN: Jerad Price (Danielle), Christopher McGee (Chelsea), Chaisley Breder, Chariley Breder, Channing Breder.
GREAT-GREAT-GRANDCHILDREN: Sofia Price, Olli Price, Emma McGee and Ellie McGee.
SON IN LAW: Bill Cobb
Numerous nieces and nephews also survive.

Lyla was preceded in death by her parents, a daughter Sharon Cobb, and a sister Audrey Mohrman along with her husband Dean.

A Visitation will be held on Wednesday, March 18, 2026 from 4:00 until 7:00 PM at the Duker & Haugh Funeral Home. Memorials may be made to the family to help with expenses. The Duker & Haugh Funeral Home is in charge of the arrangements.
