Linda Oliver
Linda Oliver, age 73, passed away on June 30, 2026, in Blessing Hospital. She was born on October 13, 1952 in Portsmouth, Virginia, a daughter of Grace Waters and Walter Faircloth.
Linda was a woman known for her generous heart, quiet strength, selfless nature, and love for God. Throughout her life, she continuously put the needs of others before her own, offering kindness, guidance, and support to anyone fortunate enough to know her. She possessed a warmth that brought comfort to family and friends, and her caring spirit touched countless lives over the years. Above all else, Linda valued family. She created a lasting foundation of love and support that will continue through the generations she helped shaped. Her presence brought a sense of peace and security to those closest to her, and the love she gave so freely will remain a lasting part of the lives she touched.
She is lovingly remembered by Poshia Shaffer, her daughter-in-law; along with her cherished grandchildren, Kelly Powell, Cody Mitchell, Lexus Oliver, Leah Oliver, Leslie Oliver, along with extended family members and dear friends, who will forever hold her memory close to their hearts.
Linda was proceeded in death by her beloved son, William Carl Oliver, whose memory remained forever close to her heart.
Linda will be remembered not only for the life she lived, but for the compassion she showed, the strength she carried, and the love she gave without hesitation. Her kindness, warmth, and unwavering care for others defined the woman she was and the legacy she leaves behind. Her memory will remain a lasting source of comfort for those who knew and loved her.
