Leanne Marie Cady
Leanne Marie Cady, age 42, of Quincy, IL, died on Friday, March 20, 2026. She was born on March 6, 1984, the daughter of Larry Cady and Jeannie Geers Reddick.
Leanne had been employed at Kohls Wholesale until recently. Leanne enjoyed geode hunting, fishing, and gambling in her free time. She could often be found working on puzzles or coloring with her daughter, Autumn.
She is survived by her children: Payton, Autumn, and Gabriel “Gabe” Crowell. Her mother, Jeannie Reddick (Ron). A brother, Cory Cady (Valerie) of Clarksville, TN. Great-Grandmother, Carol Geers. Various aunts, uncles, cousins, and other relatives also survive.
She was preceded in death by her father, Larry Cady; Grandmother, Elsie Cady; Grandfather, Roger Geers.
Cremation rites have been accorded. A Celebration of Life will be held at a later date. The Duker & Haugh Funeral Home is in charge of the arrangements.
Jeannie – I am so sorry to hear of your daughter’s death, there is no greater loss than that of a child. I pray that God provides you with all the strength required by you and her children and extended family as you navigate this tremendous loss. May your many amazing and wonderful memories provide you with comfort. May the good Lord wrap his loving arms around you all!
So sorry for your loss, big hugs ! Losing a child is difficult. Leanne is a star in the sky looking down from above, chose them for hers to shine during the night sky!

Im at a loss for words about this we went to school together at st Boniface. After graduating from there I hadn’t seen her for yrs up until about 4 or 5 yrs ago we was good friend in grade school then just lost contact I was overjoyed to have ran into her we sat up literally all night laughing and catching up for the lost yrs we had talked an hung out making Random wal mart trips here an there then we would chat here an there we hadn’t talked again for a couple yrs this really breaks my heart to see someone with a such a beautiful heart was taken too soon from us she was a good love mother hardworking alot of life in her im really going to miss her. My condolences to the family never forgotten forever missed
