I just learned of his bravery, along with Pfc Lewis Nalder, in a Salute to the Heroes of the Battle of Saipan presented in World War II uncovered. May God give him the peace and rest he justly deserves.

Lauren was both a gentle and stubborn man. He loved being a grandfather. May he rest in peace

Lauren was my father in law at one time. He was a sweet man, gentle man and always seem to have a smile. My thoughts and prayers go out to his family.
