Kathleen ‘Kathy’ C. Postle, age 81, of Quincy, IL, died on Friday, October 30, 2026, in Blessing Hospital. She was born February 15, 1945, the daughter of Leonard and Loretta (Maas) Klauser. Kathy married Daniel W. Postle on October 17, 1963, in Salem, Arkansas. He preceded her in death.

She had an in home daycare throughout her life not only for family but for others as well, was an avid bowler in the 80’s, and loved being on Facebook so she could see all her grandkids, great grandkids, and great-great grandkids.

Kathy is survived by her three children: Tina (John) Pray; Lori Postle; and Brian Postle.

BROTHERS: Kenneth (Tunie) Klauser, Leroy (Jackie) Klauser, John (Barb) Klauser, David (Patti) Klauser, Dennis (Julie) Klauser and Eugene (Lorrie) Klauser.

SISTERS: Diane (Mitch) Dyel, Bonnie (Kevin) Eichhorn, and Sherrie (Jim) Weerts.

GRANDCHILDREN: Kreagan (fiancé Emily) Pray; Jessica (Kyle) Eager, Austin (Brittany) Pray; and Joshua Postle.

GREAT GRANDCHILDREN: Jackson; Daphne; Dominik; Bentley; Silas; Athena; Coletta; and Thomas.

Numerous friends and relatives also survive.

Kathy was preceded in death by her parents, husband, a brother Tom Klauser, and a great grandson Gauge Eager.

Services will be held on Friday, November 6, at 9:30 AM in the Duker & Haugh Funeral Home, followed by a Mass of Christian Burial at 10:00 AM in St. Francis Solanus Catholic Church. Interment will follow in Calvary Cemetery. Visitation will be held on Thursday, November 5, from 4:00 – 7:00 PM at the Duker & Haugh Funeral Home. In lieu of flowers memorials can be made to Blessing Breast Cancer or St. Francis Catholic Church. Service arrangements are with the Duker and Haugh Funeral Home.
