Judith A. “Judy” Gustison
Judith A. “Judy” Gustison died on Wednesday, July 15, 2026, at her home in Quincy. She was born on February 28, 1947 in Quincy, a daughter of Timothy and Angela (Brink) Gustison.
She graduated from Quincy Notre Dame in 1965. Judy worked at Moormans, which later became ADM, and retired in 2012 after 46 years in the office. She was a member of St. Francis Catholic Church.
Judy volunteered for Ladies of Charity. She loved to read. In her free time, she enjoyed shopping and buying gifts for her beloved nieces and nephews.
Judy is survived by her loving Siblings: Mike (Beth) Gustison of Quincy, Ken Gustison of Asheville, NC, Ron Gustison of Quincy, Debbie (Rob) Swegle of Pekin, IL, and Sister-In-Law: Carol Gustison. She was a devoted aunt to her eight nieces and nephews: Amy (Wayne) Martin, Darren (Heidi) Gustison, Greta (Frank) Heck, Tami (Toby) Culp, Tony (Betsy) Gustison, Barb Gustison, Tim Gustison, and Mark (Laila) Gustison. She was also a proud great aunt to 14 great-nieces and nephews and a loving great-great aunt to 2 great-great nieces.
Judy was preceded in death by her parents, her brothers Jack Gustison and Dennis Gustison and her sister Kay Gustison.
A Mass of Christian Burial will be held on Monday, July 20, 2026 at 11:00 AM in St. Francis Catholic Church. Interment in Calvary Cemetery. Visitation will be held on Monday, July 20, 2026 from 9:30 AM until 10:30 AM at the Duker and Haugh Funeral Home. Memorials are suggested to St. Francis Catholic Church or Ladies of Charity. Service arrangements are with the Duker and Haugh Funeral Home.
I don’t know this lady although I did work with her brother Jack at Illinois Veterans Home for 8 years in dietary Department. I worked with Jack at the Elmore Infirmary feeding residents and such. I knew his brother Dennis vaguely but he was very generous gave many many dollars away at the local pub buying drinks for people and telling jokes I miss both of those guys and I’m sure their sister was a fine person also.

Your mother was a relative to the Geers’ but my siblings and I went to school with her family at St. Rose. I remember your parents do well and Judy and all too,

So sorry to read of Judy’s passing. We worked at MoorMan’s when we were a family. She worked in the Order Department.She was a delightful person, fun to be around. My thoughts and prayers are with you and your family.
