John ‘Jack’ Freiburg, II, age 73, of Quincy, died on Tuesday, October 20, 2026 in the home of his daughter in O’Fallon, MO.

Funeral services will be held on Monday, October 26, 2026 at 9:30 AM at the Duker and Haugh Funeral Home followed by a Mass of Christian Burial at 10:00 AM in St. Peter Catholic Church. Interment in Calvary Cemetery. Visitation will be held on Sunday, October 25, 2026 from 3:00 PM until 6:00 PM at the Duker & Haugh Funeral Home.

Gone but not forgotten Jack. Four short years together in Sigma Nu at Illinois State but a lifetime of memories. Knowing you’re at Peace now and we’ll see each other again. Hope the hunting and fishing are good where you are

Jack was one of a kind. Endless energy, heart big enough to love everyone, stamina to out last us all. I feel lucky to have known him.
