Jeanette married Marvin Winking on June 18th,1960 in Quincy. They shared 63 beautiful years as husband and wife traveling, gardening, and spending time with their children and grandchildren. Jeanette also served as a Eucharistic Minister to the Sick, and when her children were in school, she helped at-risk youth through the Head Start program at Madison Elementary School.

Jeanette first discovered her artistic side engaging in craft projects at the Quincy Senior Center and eventually grew into a true artisan. She became adept at working in stained glass creating hanging panels, delicate jewelry boxes, and gorgeous stained-glass lamps and overhead lights. All of these are cherished pieces that can be found today in her children’s and grandchildren’s homes. Jeanette was a long-time member of St. Peter Catholic Church in Quincy IL and later became a faithful member of Immaculate Heart of Mary (IHM) in Indianapolis, Indiana.

In addition to her husband Marvin, survivors include their children: Brad Winking and wife Shelley of McKinney TX; Deborah Contino and husband Peter of Fort Collins CO; and Lori Bisser and husband Brad of Indianapolis IN.
