Thoughts and prayers to all the cousins and friends of Jan. Couple quick memories…. in the early days the birthday or catholic event… First communion, baptism, etc. would result in everyone being at the Siebers for the Sunday afternoon event. Softball on the front yard with the big hits….able to carry the fence into the sheep pen.

Jan became a favorite copilot for Margie after Ab passed away. Any church dinner, picnic, ice cream social or restaurant discount was a reason for them to head out on the adventure. Jan‘s limited vision was a blessing as mom‘s driving became more erratic as her early dementia kicked in. I don’t recall where they found someone selling morel mushrooms for $35 a pound but they bought a half pound and thought they won the lottery. I’m sure they’re having more adventures now with the rest of the aunts and uncles.

I am so very sorry to hear of Jan’s passing. We used to have a barrel of fun on impromptu trips and activities along with our friend Janet Terwische. We were known as triple trouble when we all worked at the bank years ago. Jan was selfless, friendly and always had a smile. She will be missed.n
