Harold Bowler, age 77, of Liberty, died on Tuesday, November 14, 2023 in Blessing Hospital. He was born on April 26, 1946 in Hannibal, MO the son of Edward & Melissa (Chapman) Bowler. He married Deborah Warning on July 13, 1973. She survives. Harold was a welder for local manufacturers. He loved watching Western movies and was a huge John Wayne fan. In earlier years, Harold liked to deer hunt and mushroom hunt and was also a member of the Liberty Lions Club.

In addition to his wife, Harold is survived by:
A Son: Harold Bowler, Jr.
Siblings: Carl Bowler (Shirley); Helen Nair and Glenna Utley.
Numerous nieces, nephews and other relatives also survive.

Harold was preceded in death by his parents, and siblings: Edward Bowler, Kenny Bowler, Henry Bowler, Coleman Bowler, Lester Bowler, Mary Jacobs, Stella Shrum, Delores Kennedy and Wilma Lawrence.

Per Harold’s wishes, cremation rites were accorded and no formal services are planned. Private family inurnment will take place at Xander Cemetery at a later date. The Duker & Haugh Funeral Home is in charge of the arrangements.
