Harold A. Watts

Harold A. Watts, age 79, of Hull, died on Friday, April 7, 2023 in his home. He was born on September 26, 1943 in Beardstown, IL the son of Isaac and Rella (Roate) Watts. Harold graduated from Unity High School in Mendon, IL. He married Zandra Baker in Quincy, IL on October 12, 1962. She survives.

Harold worked as an assembly and product tester for Gardner Denver, retiring after 47 years of service. Harold enjoyed working on cars and tractors. He greatly enjoyed spending time with his family and friends and loved his pets dearly.

In addition to his wife, he is also survived by:
TWO CHILDREN: Ron Watts of Plainville, IL and Rhonda Watts of Quincy.
GRANDCHILDREN: Megan McGoldrich, Scott Reddick, Andrew Watts, Isaac Watts, Wyatt Watts, and Veronica Watts.
SIBLINGS: Dolores Wright and Carolyn (Danny) Phillips.
Numerous great-grandchildren, nieces, nephews and other relatives also survive.

Harold was preceded in death by his parents and two siblings: Verdella Turner and John Watts.

Funeral services will be held on Friday, April 14, 2023 at 1:00 PM in the Duker & Haugh Funeral Home. Interment in Quincy Memorial Park. Visitation will be held at the funeral home on Friday from 12:00 noon until the time of the services at 1:00 PM. The Duker & Haugh Funeral Home is in charge of the arrangements.
