Garald “Garry” E. Walton
Garald “Garry” E. Walton passed away in his home in Liberty, IL on January 10, 2026 peacefully surrounded by family.
Garry was born on February 24, 1941 in Quincy, the son of Floyd “Red” Walton and Irene Goodwin.
Garry married Charlotte Warning, she preceded him in death on March 1, 2019.
He was owner and operator of Walton’s Bulldozing for 50 years and a former employee of the Adams County Highway Department.
Survivors include children: Gene (Becky) Walton of Liberty and Becky (Wayde) Booth of Quincy, along with grandchildren: Bob (Sarah) Walton; Ryan (Courtney) Walton; Tyler (Hayley) Walton, and numerous great-grandchildren.
Gary was proceeded in death by his wife, Charlotte and grandson Alex Booth.
Cremation rites have been accorded and there will be no services.
Memorials may be made to the Blessing Foundation for Hospice.
Duker and Haugh Funeral Home is in charge of arrangements.

What a great person !! I got the pleasure to meet him and Gene when i had pond put in. I only wish that i had half of his knowledge ,WHAT A GREAT MAN!!!
