Erwin F. Logan

Erwin F. Logan, known affectionately as ‘Brother Lo’, age 62, of Quincy, died on Wednesday, May 17, 2023 in St. Louis, MO. He was born on July 1, 1960 in Mexico, MO the son of Eddie Roy and Fontell (Morton) Logan. He married Deloris White on March 31, 1987. She survives.

Erwin worked for the State of Illinois for the Department of Transportation and A/WARE Trucking.

Erwin was a member of the ‘Wheels of Choice’ Motorcycle club. He loved his RV and traveling. He also liked 4-wheeling and fishing. He also loved cooking, grilling and doing a fish-fry.

In addition to his wife, he is also survived by:
TWO CHILDREN: Nicole Logan of Elkridge, Maryland, and Shafawn Logan of Houston, TX
GRANDCHILDREN: Elijah, Elianna, Niya. Lailen, Daijon, Aliyah, and Ava.
THREE SIBLINGS: Sherwin Logan (Debbie), Bonita M. Hyler (Billy) and Donnie Roy Logan (Michelle).
Numerous nieces, nephews and other relatives also survive.

Erwin was preceded in death by his parents and a brother: Carl ‘Hippie’ Thomas.

Funeral services will be held on Monday, May 22, 2023 at 1:30 in the Duker & Haugh Funeral Home. Interment in Greenmount Cemetery. Visitation will be held on Sunday from 2:00 PM until 4:00 PM at the Duker & Haugh Funeral Home. Memorials may be made to the National Cancer Institute. The Duker & Haugh Funeral Home is in charge of the arrangements. Condolences may be given at www.dukerandhaugh.com.
