Doris J. Hamann

Doris J. Hamann, age 67, of 1613 Cedar St., died on Sunday, December 21, 2014 in Blessing Hospital. She was born on February 9, 1947 in Fairview, OK the daughter of Otis Clyde & Tillie Pearl (Slarbe) Hood. She married Ronald L. Hamann on January 17, 1970 in Pueblo, CO. He preceded her in death. Mrs. Hamann was a homemaker. She was of the Catholic Faith. She enjoyed camping and fishing. She also loved spending time with her grandchildren and all their activities and games.

She is survived by:
TWO DAUGHTERS: Anita Hood of Quincy and Dianna Hamann also of Quincy
FIVE GRANDCHILDREN: Kurtis Platt, Cody Platt, Chase Longcor, Gavin Longcor, and Miley Trammel
TWO BROTHERS: Clyde Hood and Thomas ‘Bub’ Hood
FIVE SISTERS: Pearl Cole and her husband Joe, Kay Jaramello and her husband Arthur, Debra Hood, Glenda Gross and her partner Linda and Virginia Hood and her partner Michelle.
Numerous nieces, nephews and other relatives also survives.

In addition to her husband, Doris was also preceded in death by a daughter Susan Ann Hamann in infancy and two sisters: Joanna ‘Tiny’ Crammer and Mary Ann Farr.

Funeral services will be held on Friday, December 26, 2014 at 10:00 AM in the Duker & Haugh Funeral Home. Interment will be in the Sunset Cemetery of the Illinois Veterans Home. Visitation will be held on Friday morning from 9:00 AM until the time of the services. Memorials may be made to a fund for her grandchildren.
