Donald L. ‘Donnie’ Phillips, age 70, of Quincy, died on Friday, September 11, 2026 in Blessing Hospital. He was born on June 16, 1956 in Quincy, the son of Leonard and Emma (Goodwin) Phillips. He married Donna Pennington on December 19, 1981. She survives. Donnie was a manager for Automotive stations over the years.

Donnie liked the outdoors and cookouts. He liked to travel, family events and the occasional trip to the casino. He was also an avid fan of the Dallas Cowboys.

In addition to his wife Donna, Donnie is also survived by:
SIBLINGS: Juanita Griesbaum (Daniel), Greg Phillips (Kathy), Randy Phillips (Chris) Timmy Phillips, Becky Krietemeyer (Randy) and Brent Phillips (Sara).
Numerous nieces, nephews, cousins and other relatives survive.

Donnie was preceded in death by his parents, a sister Christina Phillips and a sister in law: Ronda Phillips.

Funeral services will be held on Tuesday, September 15, 2026 at 12:00 Noon at the Duker & Haugh Funeral Home. Interment in Calvary Cemetery. Visitation will be held on Tuesday from 11:00 AM until the time of the services at noon. Memorials may be made to the Charity of the Donor’s Choice. The Duker & Haugh Funeral Home is in charge of the arrangements.
