Donald Bennett
Donald E. Bennett, age 66, of Quincy, passed away in his home on Monday, April 21, 2025 at 8:25 Am. He was born on December 20, 1958 in Quincy, IL.
He worked as a dishwasher at Spring Lake Country Club for many years.
Don liked to go fishing, playing cards and monopoly. He loved music, especially Elvis and listening to AC/DC.
He is survived by:
TWO CHILDREN: Kayla Bennett (Charles Russell) and Arthur Bennett (Shyann Tapp).
THREE GRANDCHILDREN: Connor Russell, Ava Bennett and Adeleigh Bennett.
SIBLING: Debra Lahvic
Other relatives and friends survive.
Don was preceded in death by a sister: Sheryl Daniels Dickenson.
Cremation rites have been accorded and no formal services are planned at this time. The Duker & Haugh Funeral Home is in charge of the arrangements.
I want to leave my condolences to my cousin Diane Welsh. Donald and her were together for 20 years. It’s hard to loose you partner specially that many years. Was sad to not see her name listed with the survivors.
