Our families were very close as we were growing up. My dad and his served in WWII in the Army Air Force and my dad worked for a time at the feed store. I used to hitch rides to Christian Brothers HS with Dennis. Leslie, Dennis and I played on the football team. Our parents had weekly card parties.

Dennis was a friendly, clever, generous man. May he rest in peace.
