Deborah “Debbie” A. Leckbee, age 60, of Quincy, Il, died on Sunday, August 23, 2026, in her home. She was born on May 15, 1966, in Quincy, IL, the daughter of Kenneth Albert and Melba Ruth (Stroheker) Leckbee. Debbie’s significant other of 35 years, Charles Davis, survives her.

Debbie worked her entire life spending many years in the dietary department of Blessing Hospital and Good Samaritan Home. Most recently, she was employed by RX Cleaning Company.

Debbie loved going to the Quincy Public Library and reading was her favorite past time. She loved to shop and going to yard sales was always part of her weekend activities. She treasured her friends and made sure to stay in touch with regular calls and texts. Debbie was of the Christian faith.

In addition to Charles, Debbie is survived by three daughters: Destiny, Katelyn and Hannah, and two granddaughters and a grandson. Siblings: Kathryn Stoermer and Larry Leckbee; and cousin Becky Clay. Many other relatives survive.

Debbie was preceded in death by her parents, maternal grandparents, and paternal grandparents.

Cremation rites have been accorded with no formal services planned. Memorials may be made to the American Diabetes Association. The Duker & Haugh Funeral Home is in charge of the arrangements.
