Craig Shaw

Craig M. Shaw, age 67, of Quincy died on Saturday, April 15, 2023 in Jacksonville Memorial Hospital in Jacksonville, IL. He was born on October 1, 1955 in Chicago, IL, the son Andy and Inez (Carson) Shaw. Craig was a graduate of Quincy High School. He worked as a truck driver for Diamond Trucking since 1988 until his retirement in 2021.

Craig enjoyed driving around town, listening to his favorite music. He also loved playing poker.

Craig is survived by his children: Devalynn Guy (Demetrius Lockhart), Everette Abbey, Craig Abbey, Belinda Abbey (Benjamin), Orlanda Abbey, Michael Abbey, also a special friend Barbara Stemmons Abbey.
SIBILINGS: Barry A. (Lori) Shaw of Wichita, KS, Lance T. Shaw of Wichita, KS and Alan (Debbie) Hickman of Quincy.
Numerous grandchildren, great grandchildren and other relatives also survive.

Craig was preceded in death by his parents, his son Joseph Abbey in infancy and a sister: Deborah β€˜Toni’ M. Ross

Funeral services will be held on Monday, April 24, 2023 at 12:00 Noon at the Duker and Haugh Funeral Home. Interment in Calvary Cemetery. Visitation will be held on Monday, April 24, 2023 from 11:00 am until the time of the services at noon. The Duker & Haugh Funeral Home is in charge of the arrangements.
