Christopher “Butch” Doyle

Christopher “Butch” Doyle, age 38, of Quincy, IL, passed away in his home on Saturday, September 19, 2026. He was born on March 13, 1988, in Sparta, IL, a son to Tammy (Jamison) Doyle and Kevin Doyle. They both survive. He was with his partner, Maryia Dailing, for 9 years. She also survives.

Butch Doyle was the light in everyone’s life. He started out always going to a new school and always being the new kid. But even when people tried to bully him and others, he was the protector. This followed him throughout his whole life; taking others under his wing, people always knowing if BDoyle was around no one would hurt them (and somehow always showing up right at the perfect time!). Butch changed dozens of people’s lives; when he was in the room, everyone flocked around him. Even in his youngest years, he had profound knowledge and wisdom as if he had lived a hundred lives (which he said he had!).

Butch Doyle first became a father in 2014 to Loukas Doyle and it changed his life, becoming a different type of protector. He became a father of two in 2018 when Waya Dailing was born. Double trouble now and all with the inherited personalities of their father, Butch had an undertaking. BDoyle never backed down though, and everything was a challenge he would win! He was an incredible father to both boys, making sure they never wanted for anything. Butch was amazing when it came to nurturing and growing both boys imagination and dreams; Loukas with dreams of becoming a WWE wrestler, and Waya with undertaking the zombie apocalypse.

Every person has a million different memories and stories of a great man, friend, brother, son, and a father! He made a mark on every person that knew him, and that is immortality. You will forever be remembered and missed.

In addition to his parents and partner, Butch is survived by his children: Loukas Doyle and Waya Dailing; Stepfather: Jay Hardwick; Stepmother: Kelly Doyle; Paternal grandmother: Louise (Duane) Pfieffer; Siblings: Crystal (Caleb) Doyle and Jake Doyle; and his best friend: William “Billy” Robacker. Numerous aunts, uncles, cousins and other family members also survive.

Butch was preceded in death by his maternal grandparents; paternal grandfather, Jack Doyle; and brother in law, Tom Dailing.

Cremation rites have been accorded. A Celebration of Life will be held at a later date. The Duker and Haugh Funeral Home is in charge of the arrangements.
