Charlotte E. Poore
Charlotte E. Poore, age 84, of Quincy, died on April 7, 2026 in the Quincy Healthcare and Senior Living Center.
She was born on September 1, 1941 in Hannibal, Missouri at St. Elizabeth Hospital. The daughter of Carl and Mary A. (Sandifer) Adam.
She married Thompson Poore on January 26, 1965. He preceded her in death on November 9, 2022.
Charlotte worked at Site Optical for numerous years in Quincy. She was a member of St. Francis Catholic Church.
Charlotte enjoyed fishing.
She is survived by:
A BROTHER: Terry Adam (Janet) and A SISTER: Patricia Rogers.
Nieces and nephews also survive.
She was preceded in death by her parents and 2 brothers and 3 sisters.
Funeral services will be held on Friday, April 10, 2026 at 11:00 AM in St. Francis Catholic Church. Interment in Quincy Memorial Park Cemetery. Visitation will be held on Friday at St. Francis from 10:00 AM until the time of the services at 11:00.
The Duker & Haugh Funeral Home is in charge of the arrangements.

I met Charlotte while working at Quincy healthcare and senior living and miss Charlotte was a beautiful soul always smiling everyone that knew her here at work will miss her.
Aunt Charlotte was such a sweet person. I always enjoyed spending time with her and Uncle Thompson. I am sorry to hear of her passing she will be missed.
Charlotte & Thompson were our neighbors on Hamann Lane. We absolutely adored them and loved our visits and talks. Wonderful neighbors and friends.
