Carole “CiCi” J. Paluh, age 82, of Quincy, formerly of Phoenix, AZ, died on Sunday, March 1, 2026, in Blessing Hospital. She was born on December 30, 1943, in Chicago, IL, the daughter of Maurice Chenier and Dorothy (Maza) Chenier. She married Russell “Rusty” W. Paluh on April 6, 1963, in Hillside, IL, he survives.

She was a homemaker and a member of the Methodist faith. CiCi was an accomplished artist, painting beautiful landscapes and still-life images in various mediums. Her parents were also skilled artists. CiCi was a member of the Harrison Art League in Harrison, AR and her work was often exhibited in art shows for others to enjoy. In her free time, she also enjoyed flower gardening and landscaping.

In addition to her loving husband, she is survived by her children: Justine Grabowsky of Phoenix; Nadine (Mike) Tisdell of San Jose, CA; Karine Elg (Joshua Baldwin) of Sioux Falls; Joline (John) Hubbard of Quincy; and Ian Reed (Tonya) Paluh of Harrison, AR.

Grandchildren: Nathan Elg, Heather Elg, Jamie Elg; Jourdan Milliard; Tessa-Julianne Grabowsky; Meghann Harris; Tristan Hubbard, Aidan Hubbard, Wyn Hubbard; Moriah D’Atri, Cassia D’Atri, and Blue D’Atri

Great-Grandchildren: Alexis Carole, Madelyn, Weston, Jack, Harper, Eloise Carole, Declan, Noah, Oliver, and Emma; Arrow, Wes, Jack, and Maeve. Two beloved nieces, Leslie and Danielle and a nephew, Duane also survive.

CiCi was preceded in death by her parents, father-in-law Walter Paluh, mother-in-law Evelyn Paluh, and two brothers, Duane Chenier and Maurice “Shorty” Chenier.

Cremation rites have been accorded. At this time, no formal services are planned.
Service arrangements are with the Duker and Haugh Funeral Home.
