D’avalon James ‘DJ’ Pannell, age 25, of Quincy, died on Friday, January 26, 2024 in the Emergency Room of Blessing Hospital. He was born on September 13, 1998 in Geneva, IL the son of Andre Pannell and Tina Kadow Winfert.

DJ worked at PETCO. He enjoyed D&D and MAGIC the Gathering. He was very social and liked to hang out with his friends.

He is survived by:
HIS FATHER: Andre Eugene Pannell
HIS MOTHER: Tina Marie Kadow Winfert (Ta-tanisha Winfert)
THREE SIBLINGS: Samantha Pillars, Evan Anderson and Francesca Pannell.
A niece and nephew along with other relatives also survive.

Cremation rites have been accorded and no formal services are planned at this time. The Duker & Haugh Funeral Home is in charge of the arrangements.
