Yvonne “Bonnie” Young, age 77, of Park Hills, MO, formerly of Quincy, IL, died on Tuesday, October 8, 2013 in Farmington, MO. She was born on June 8, 1936 in Adams County, IL, a daughter of Vernon & Martha (Gallagher) Tournear. She married John Young. He preceded her in death.

Bonnie is survived by a daughter, Tami Maxwell of Park Hills, MO; a son, Timothy L. Young of Quincy; 2 grandchildren, Heather Howard & Amanda Maxwell; 3 great grandchildren, Payton, Connor & Dakota; and 4 brothers, Robert (Sammie) Tournear, Gary Tournear and Bruce (Janice) Tournear, all of Quincy, and David Woodward of Phoenix, AZ. Nieces, nephews, other relatives and friends also survive.

In addition to her husband, John, and parents, she was preceded in death by a brother, Marlon Tournear and a sister, Carol Tournear.

Graveside services will be held on Saturday, October 19, 2013 at 11:00 a.m. in Greenmount Cemetery by Rev. George Tomko. There is no visitation, but family and friends are invited to the graveside service. The Duker & Haugh Funeral Home is in charge of the arrangements.
