Thinking of your family and the history. I remember hearing about Elmer when we visited. The Frey family. My dad(Jefferson)s father and Elmers father were brothers. Some of the brothers spelled the name differently obviously to make for a shorter last name. All of my dads brothers and sister have passed making Elmer the last from that age group.
