William D. “Chip” Arnold

William D. “Chip” Arnold, Jr., age 49 of Quincy, died on Sunday, June 20, 2021, in Blessing Hospital. Chip was born on March 21, 1972, in Quincy to William D. and Jayma (Nutt) Arnold, Sr.

Chip was a 1990 graduate from Quincy Senior High School and was employed as a machinist for both Manchester Tank and Knapheide Manufacturing.

Chip loved the outdoors, fishing, mushroom hunting, and barbecuing. He also enjoyed cooking, playing poker, and rooting for his favorite team, the Kansas City Chiefs. Most of all, Chip will be remembered as being a comedian. Chip lived life to the fullest and his children and family were the light of his life. In the end, he turned his life around before joining his mom in heaven.

Survivors include his father, William D. Arnold Sr.; his children, Brooklyn, Ryatt, Remy, Mikandria and Myah; one grandson, Quincy; and his siblings, Tammy Long (Shonnie), Jeri Suttles (Greg), Kelly Dice (Dan) and Mikka Arnold. Numerous nieces and nephews also survive.

The family will host a celebration of Chip’s life on Friday, June 25th, 2021 at 4:00 PM at the Southside Boat Club. Dinner will be served and everyone is welcome to attend. Memorials may be made to the family to help with expenses. The Duker and Haugh Funeral Home is handling the arrangements.
