Wendy Lee Davis

Wendy Lee Davis, age 52, of Quincy died on Sunday, January 2, 2022, at 5:45 a.m.
Wendy was born in Quincy on September 26, 1969, a daughter of Tony McCulloch and Cathy (Cookson) Hills. She married Carl “Rob” Davis on August 24, 1995, at the Salvation Army in Hannibal, MO. They had five children, Eva Davis, Shawn Davis, David Davis, Steven Davis, and Madeline Davis.

She put her heart and soul into taking care of others. In addition to holding together her whole family, she was a C.N.A and Med Tech. Locally she worked at Sunset Home in Quincy and Beth Haven nursing home in Hannibal.

Wendy loved swimming and teaching others how to swim. She taught swimming to over forty girls as a leader for the Salvation Army’s Sunbeam program, along with the majority of her family. She also loved camping and fishing. Her family meant everything to her.

In addition to Rob Survivors include: her parents, Tony McCulloch and Cathy Hills; Her children: Eva Davis, Shawn (Amy) Davis, David (Katrina) Davis, Steven (Katey) Davis, and Madeline (Zakery) Davis; Her grandchildren: Jon, Brady, Kaitlyn, Abby, De’mariae, Billy, Colten, Kaleb, Lilly, James, and Mackenzie; Her siblings: Jim and John Hills, Toni and Katie McCulloch, John Anderson, Orville Hills, and Sabrina Krenzelok; and her pets: Junior, Jeremy, Elviran, and Giovanni.

Wendy was preceded in death by her maternal and paternal grandparents, and a grandson, Robbie, in infancy.
Family and friends are invited to visitation on Tuesday from 12:00 to 1:00 p.m. at Duker & Haugh Funeral Home, with a service at 1:00.
Interment will follow at Greenmount Cemetery.

    I’m so sorry for the loss of you mom. She was real, I was going to get to see her maybe this summer as Adam lives in Hannibal. I will always remember our our friendship and her laugh. I’m so sorry
