Walter Floyd Deming, Jr.
Walter Floyd Deming, Jr. age 78, of Clayton died on Friday, December 22, 2017 in his home. Floyd was born January 18, 1939 in Quincy, a son of Floyd and Anna (Bellmeyer) Deming.
Floyd worked as an in-loader at Moorman Manufacturing from 1968 until his retirement in 1997.
He was a member and a former president of the McKee Creek Coon Hunter’s Club and Rocky Point Club in Quincy. Floyd was an avid coon hunter, it was his passion, as were his beloved dogs.
Survivors include his children: Robin (Kent) Mowen; David (Viola) Deming; Penny (Jeff) Martin all of Liberty; Rochelle (Richard) Bouchez) of Quincy; Sarah (Bobby) Walton of Liberty.
His sisters, JoAnn Breneman and Rita “Maxine” Sparks both of Quincy; a dear friend, Christa Anders and a longtime family friend, Roby (Tammy) Sharpe of Liberty.
17 grandchildren; twenty-two great-grandchildren and nieces and nephews also survive.
He was preceded in death by his parents; a brother, Donald Lee Deming; three sisters, Marie Robbins; Irene Warning and Ruth Schwartz.
Funeral services will be held on Tuesday, December 26, 2017 at 12 o’clock noon in the Duker & Haugh Funeral Home. Visitation will be Tuesday from 10:00 a.m. until 12 noon at the funeral home. Interment will be in Pleasant View Cemetery near Liberty. Memorials are suggested to Unity Point HOSPICE.
A great man I will miss him he never change always the same every time I saw him he was a true friend I love to watch him at his craft of selling stuff he was the best and he love it and made a lot of friends he will be missed
