Virginia L. “Ginny” Graham

Virginia L. “Ginny” Graham, age 64, of 101 N. 4th St., Quincy, died on Monday, March 7, 2016 in her home. She was born on May 16, 1951 in Great Lakes, IL, a daughter of Kenneth & Susann (Haas) Graham.

Virginia was a graduate of Crowder College in Neosho, MO. She worked for Marlboro Wire as a welder and truck driver.

She was of the Christian faith.

Ginny enjoyed going fishing and watching sports, especially Quincy Notre Dame football. She liked to go to garage sales and did jewelry crafting.

She is survived by two sons, Phillip Joe Alley and Paul Dean Alley, both of MO; two grandchildren (one grandson and one granddaughter); and her siblings, Seena (Carl Bryant) Duncan of Springfield, IL, Linda (Michael) Jackson, of Henderson, NC, Kenny E. (Jeanne) Graham of Neosho, MO and Susie Summitt of Lowell, AR. Eight nieces and nephews also survive.

She was preceded in death by her parents and grandparents along with a nephew, Jason Jackson.

A memorial graveside service will be held on Wednesday, March 16, 2016 at 1:00 p.m. in Greenmount Cemetery. There will be no visitation but family and friends are invited to the graveside service. Memorials may be made to the Quincy Notre Dame Foundation or the Quincy Humane Society. The Duker & Haugh Funeral Home is handling the arrangements.
