Virginia K. Glasgow

Virginia K. Glasgow, age 98, of Quincy, died Saturday, July 2, 2022 at The Arbor’s at Adam’s Pointe in Quincy.

She was born April 27, 1924 in LaGrange, MO, the daughter of Deslie and Helen Millingar Boudreau. She married Clifford “Gene” Glasgow on October 18, 1945 and he preceded her in death in June of 1991.

She is survived by her children, James E. (Vera) Glasgow of Grain Valley, MO, John H. (Patricia) Glasgow of Fenton, MO, Judith “Judy” A. Fisk of Independence, MO and Charles R. Glasgow of Phoenix, AZ; and several grandchildren, great-grandchildren, nieces and nephews. She was preceded in death by her parents; two sons, Robert L. and Thomas A. Glasgow; and two brothers, Deslie N. and William H. Boudreau.

Mrs. Glasgow attended and graduated from LaGrange High School, Gem City Business College and John Wood Community College. She also attended Quincy College and Western Illinois University. She was a member of St. Rose of Lima Catholic Church, Professional Secretaries International and was employed as a certified professional secretary in the Quincy area until her retirement in 1986. Mr. and Mrs. Glasgow enjoyed travelling together until his death in 1991.

Cremation will be accorded. No formal services are planned. Condolences may be shared with the family online at www.dukerandhaugh.com. Duker & Haugh Funeral Home is in charge of the arrangements.
