Virgil Greg Meyer
Virgil ‘Greg’ Meyer, age 74, of Louisiana, MO, died on Sunday, February 19, 2023 in Hannibal Regional Hospital. He was born on February 5, 1949 in Quincy, the son of Virgil H. F. Meyer, Sr., and Alaine L. (Ancell) Meyer.
Mr. Meyer was most recently a car salesman. He was an Army Veteran of the Vietnam War. He was of the Lutheran Faith. Following in the footsteps of his father, Greg enjoyed playing drums in local bands.
1 SON: Greg Meyer (Mary) of Quincy
1 GRANDSON: Jackson Meyer
SIBLINGS: Jmarie Nieders (Carl) and Jeffrey C. Meyer.
Nieces, nephews and other relatives also survive.
Mr. Meyer was preceded in death by his parents, and two siblings: Robert Meyer and Larry Meyer.
Cremation rites will be accorded. Graveside services will be held at a later date. The Duker & Haugh Funeral Home is in charge of the arrangements.
Going to miss our conversations we had on chat. You’ll be playing in a band with my dad on the banjo and mom singing with the angels. Till we meet again cuz.
I sure am going to miss you~! I will miss our talks every night for hours, laughing and venting to each other. You taught me a lot. I will love you forever~!!!
