Violette M. Coy, age 99, of 1119 Madonna Dr., Quincy, died on Thursday, October 22, 2015 in her home. She was born on August 5, 1916 in Cleveland, OH, a daughter Arthur & Emily (Schultz) Russ. She married John Lewis Coy on August 21, 1954. He preceded her in death on October 21, 2012.

Mrs. Coy devoted her life to being a homemaker as wife and mother.

She was a member of St. Francis Solanus Catholic Church.

Survivors include:
TWO SONS, Christopher Coy of Los Angeles, CA and Jefferson Coy and his wife Kathy of Quincy;
TWO GRANDCHILDREN, Stephen Coy & Lauren Coy of Quincy

In addition to her husband, John, she was preceded in death by her parents.

Funeral services will be held on Friday, October 30, 2015 at 10:00 a.m. in St. Francis Catholic Church. Interment will be in Calvary Cemetery. There is no visitation but family and friends are invited to the funeral mass. Memorials may be made to Blessing Foundation for Hospice. The Duker & Haugh Funeral Home is handling the arrangements.
