She was a wonderful woman to work with and easily befriend. I enjoyed her energy, perspective and the conversations always was rewarding. Prayers and well-wishes of peace and comfort to her family.
May she rest in peace. God bless the family in their loss. Have comfort in knowing she is now an angel in heaven.
I am numb. I am sad. But I am SO glad that Vikki was a part of my life: my pledge mother, my soror, my friend. I pray the family finds comfort in their memories of what a beautiful person she was. Rest in peace, Lady Clairol. “What we have once enjoyed we can never lose….All that we love deeply becomes a part of us.”~Helen Keller
Vikki was a dear friend of mine. We were next door neighbors in our dormitory at S.I.U. Vikki was one of the 1st persons I met in 1974 in Carbondale, IL. Vikki had a sense of protection for me and she always had my back. I spoke to her a few months ago and we laughed and talked on the phone for at least one hour. I will miss her dearly for she was a dedicated sorority sister of Alpha Kappa Alpha Sorority, Inc. R.I.P. my dear sister! I love you and we will meet again! Prayers are being sent the entire family….Dr. Kim Martin
Vikki….It was so good to see you again at the family reunion 3 years ago. Thank you for the wonderful conversation that we had. You were so nice. You have your wings now… Be Free…. Fly. Your cousin, Gregory.
Family of Vikki –
I am deeply saddened to hear of Vikki’s passing. Vikki and I stayed very close friends over the years up until she relocated to Quincy. Unfortunately, lost touch during that time. I will always regard Vikki as one of my dearest and closest friends. I will remember her fondly and reflect back on the good times we shared. She was one of the smartest women I had ever met. Go rest with God my friend.. Love you,
Liz
To the Family. At any time that we lose someone, the loss is great. And so may you find comfort from the God of all comfort (1 Corinthians 1:3,4) who can help you to cope with your grief. It can be hard to face each day without your loved one, but the love and support of family and friends, and or course, our loving Creator, can help to ease the pain and sorrow. Again, please accept my sincere condolences.
We will miss you very much. Thank you for your support and kindness. RIP
